Dr. Sarah “Sally” Freeman grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1991. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995 and completed an ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services in Atlanta the following year. She established Effingham Eye Care in September, 2003. When not working, she enjoys running, reading, travel, and music.
Dr. Kerry Freeman grew up in Macon, Georgia and graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1995. He has practiced in Effingham County since 1999 and joined Effingham Eye Care in 2007. When not working, he enjoys kayaking, hiking, and anything that takes him outdoors. Drs. Kerry and Sally have lived in Effingham County since 1999 and have two daughters, Kate and Anna. They are members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and are committed to serving their community through church and local charities.
Dr. Leewood “Lee lee” Still graduated cum laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. She completed her clinical training at The Eye Care Center in Memphis, Tennessee; Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky; and Coastal Vision Center in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Dr. Still is a native of Savannah, Georgia, and away from the office, she enjoys traveling, boating, cooking, and spending time with her two children and husband.
